BACKGROUND:

On November 18, 2021, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1340, from its adopted Capital Improvement Plan, for the Hacienda Avenue Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) between Decatur Boulevard and Polaris Avenue project.  The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on December 7, 2021.  This project is budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2023.

The attached Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 1340 increases total funds for additional construction costs, which increased as a result of bid amounts higher than the Engineer's estimate.

RTC approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on August 11, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
