BACKGROUND:
On October 15, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with CA Group, Inc. for design engineering services for the Cactus Avenue between Fort Apache Road and Buffalo Drive project (No. PW.R147BFT). The initial contract amount was $989,556. The Board previously approved two supplemental contracts increasing total funds in the combined amount of $162,076, for additional engineering services; and revision to the design to widen Buffalo Drive south of Cactus Avenue, preparation of a US Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 permit, and revision to design documents to complete all Basic Services and Special Services. The current revised total contract value is $1,151,632.
The attached Supplemental No. 3 to the professional engineering services contract with CA Group Inc. extends the time of performance to July 31, 2024, unless further time extensions are granted.
CA Group, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
