The initial Contract amount was $939,344 annually. Amendment No. 1 increased the annual Contract amount by $2.46. Amendment No. 2 will decrease the annual Contract amount by $3.46 for a new annual Contract amount of $939,343, and a new total Contract amount of $4,696,719.46 should all renewal options be exercised. |
BACKGROUND:
On September 19, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605396-19 to The Adoption Exchange, Inc. (NBE) in the amount of $939,344 annually for specialized recruitment for foster and adoptive youth to improve outcomes for older youth.
On June 28, 2021, The Department of Administrative Services, Purchasing and Contracts Division approved the Assignment of Contract from The Adoption Exchange, Inc. to Raise the Future effective October 5, 2020.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from September 19, 2019 through June 30, 2020 and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There is 1 renewal option remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 replaced Exhibit A, Scope of Work, Attachment 3 Budget Summary/Fee Schedule.
Approval of Amendment No. 2 will replace Page A-6, Exhibit A, Scope of Work, Attachment 3 Budget Summary/Fee Schedule revised per Amendment No. 1, with Pages A-6 through A-8. The attached Amendment No. 2 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Raise the Future currently holds a Clark County Business License.
