Southern Nevada Health District Rapid Start Program

Additional Comments:

The initial Agreement amount was $309,300. Amendment No. 1 will increase the Agreement amount by $717,000, for a new total Agreement amount not to exceed $1,026,300, should all renewal options be exercised.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On December 21, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605906-21 to Southern Nevada Health District in the amount of $309,300 to support the cost of operating services to help individuals living with HIV. This program is intended to provide early intervention services, including health care.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
•                     The term of the Agreement was from July 1, 2021 through February 28, 2023.
•                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will add 3, one-year renewal options to allow for continuation of services and add additional scope for Outpatient/Ambulatory Health Services and Health Insurance Premium, and Cost Sharing Assistance for Low-Income Individuals. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.
