BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606238-22, for Silverado Ranch Park New Community Center was advertised on June 13, 2022 and opened on August 11, 2022. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the construction of a 39,925 square foot community center that will include a gymnasium, dance studio and multi-purpose rooms. The center will also include a walking/running track mezzanine. Site work to include grading, landscaping, parking, on-site roadways, drop-off roundabout, performance plaza, entry from Silverado Boulevard, tie-in to the existing parking area, utilities and off-site connections to utilities.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 425 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Rafael Construction, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
