BACKGROUND:
On November 20, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with CH2M Hill Engineers, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of the Jim McGaughey Detention Basin, Collection Basin and Outfall project (formerly known as the Owens Detention Basin and Outfall project).
The Board and CH2M Hill Engineers, Inc. previously approved one supplemental to the professional engineering services contract increasing funds for extra utility coordination, environmental reports, geotechnical reports and plans, and extended the time of performance.
The attached Supplemental No. 2 to the professional engineering services contract with CH2M Hill Engineers, Inc. increases total funds for additional engineering services for design of the Los Feliz storm drain, sidewalk, and Master Plan amendment/change; and extends the time of performance to June 30, 2025, unless further extensions are granted.
CH2M Hill Engineers, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
