BACKGROUND:

On April 17, 2012, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with WSP USA Solutions Inc. (formerly known as Louis Berger U.S., Inc.) to provide engineering services for the design options and pre-design of the Fairgrounds - Whipple Detention Basin.  In December 2018, the Louis Berger companies merged with the WSP family of companies, and Louis Berger changed its corporate name to WSP USA Solutions Inc.

The Board and WSP USA Solutions Inc. previously approved three supplementals to the professional engineering services contract extending the time of performance and increasing funds for final design engineering services.

The attached Supplemental No. 4 to the professional engineering services contract with WSP USA Solutions Inc. increases total funds for additional engineering services and extends the time performance to December 31, 2026.

WSP USA Solutions Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the fourth supplemental contract as to form.
