BACKGROUND:

On May 5, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved the submission of FY2020-2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), approved a project list, and authorized staff to submit the CDBG Pre-Award Approval Request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and subsequently approved the FY 2020-2024 CDBG CIP.

The CIP included an allocation of $476,913 for Parkdale Park basketball/pool renovation. Subsequently, on July 19, 2022, an additional reallocation amount of $158,228 was approved due to supply system issues and increased construction costs. CDBG administrative cost savings will be reallocated to the project.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved this item as to form.
