BACKGROUND:

On August 13, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1212 for the Traffic Signal Improvements Program:  Package 103 project on its annual Capital Improvement Plan from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension Funds.

On September 15, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1212 with RTC to provide funds for engineering and two supplementals to the interlocal contract increasing total funds for additional engineering and construction for Change Order No. 1 with Unicon LLC, Bid No. 605722-20, Traffic Signal Improvements at Various Locations #103A - Durango Drive and Gomer Road and Spencer Street and Wigwam Avenue.  On August 17, 2021, the Board approved the aforementioned Change Order No. 1.

The attached Supplemental No. 3 to this interlocal contract increases total funds for construction for the project.

The requested additional funds for this project are budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2023.  RTC approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on September 8, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
