BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved Interlocal Contract No. 3061 and budgeted funding for the Robindale Road Pedestrian Grade Separation project in RTC's Highway Improvement Fund for Fiscal Year 2023.

The attached Interlocal Contract No. 3061 allocates design funds for the previously approved multi-use trail and walking path around the perimeter of James Regional Sports Park project from Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act Round 17 funding.  The project scope has expanded to include pedestrian tunnels, including the design of two pedestrian tunnels under Robindale Road.  The time of performance is effective to December 31, 2027, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on September 8, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
