BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606254-22, for Various Roadway Rehabilitation was advertised on July 28, 2022 and opened on August 29, 2022. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

Las Vegas Paving Corporation (NBE) $6,050,000
This Contract is for installing a detector loop at a signalized intersection, utility adjustments, cold planing, plantmix bituminous surface, UTACS, permanent striping and signing, median installation, and other necessary appurtenances required to make a good, complete, and serviceable project. The work also consists of miscellaneous removal, disposal and salvage/replacement of designated items, and other related items of work as specified and shown on the drawings within the unincorporated area of Clark County, City of Henderson, City of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 165 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
