BACKGROUND:
On December 7, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners authorized the Chair to sign an Interlocal Facility License Agreement with the City of Mesquite to rent, equip and operate, at public expense, a branch office of the County Clerk within Mesquite City Hall. The Agreement will expire on November 30, 2022, unless extended by a written amendment to the Agreement approved by the governing bodies of both Clark County and the City of Mesquite.
On October 11, 2022, the Mesquite City Council approved the written amendment extending the Agreement to November 30, 2025, with further one-year extensions permitted thereafter upon the mutual approval of Clark County and the City of Mesquite.
The Clark County District Attorney's Office approves the attached agreement.
