BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606340-22, for Pinto Campus - Public Admin/Guardian Building and Warehouse Building Roof Replacement Public Administration Guardian Building - Chiller and Cooling Tower Replacement was advertised on August 29, 2022 and opened on October 6, 2022. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the demolition, disposal and installation of a new roof and flashings, cleaning of all roof and overflow drains, provide and install new dome strainers, new PVC roofing system and new skylight fall protection on both the Public Administration and Warehouse Building. Construction also includes procurement and installation of new chiller and cooling towers.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 150 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
