Crisis Stabilization and Supportive Housing Continuity of Care Program

Additional Comments:

The initial Contract amount was $1,446,477.88 annually. Amendment No. 1 increased the Contract amount by $682,100.34 annually. Amendment No. 2 will increase the Contract amount by $1,064,289.11 annually, for a new annual Contract amount of $3,192,867.33 and a new total Contract amount of $13,153,658.09 should all renewal options be exercised.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On December 3, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of RFQ No. 605240-19 to Charleston Residential Services LLC dba CrossRoads of Southern Nevada (NBE) in the amount of $1,446,477.88 annually for the expansion of crisis stabilization resources, housing options, and support for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness and have substance abuse disorders and/or mental health disorders to initiate and sustain recovery in a continuity of care model.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The term of the Contract was from date of award through December 31, 2020 and included the option to                      renew for 4, one-year periods. There are 2 renewal options remaining.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Amendment No. 1 provided for the continuation of services which included an increased capacity due to the ongoing pandemic.

Approval of Amendment No. 2 will provide for the continuation of services to those who are seeking assistance with housing and rehabilitation through the Crisis Stabilization program. The attached Amendment No. 2 document details the costs involved.

Charleston Residential Services LLC dba CrossRoads of Southern Nevada currently holds a Clark County Business License.
