The initial Contract amount was $1,111,000. Amendment No. 1 will increase the Contract amount by $3,088,290, for a new total Contract amount of $4,199,290 should all renewal options be exercised. |
BACKGROUND:
On February 15, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606072-21 to Fresca, LLC dba Arizona Charlies Boulder (NBE) in the amount of $1,111,000 for rooms for Clark County visitors, community residents and families who have been affected by Covid-19.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from November 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will reduce the total number of rooms from 60 to 30 and add 4, one-year renewal options to allow for the continuation of services. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Fresca, LLC dba Arizona Charlies Boulder currently holds a Clark County Business License.
