BACKGROUND:
On December 15, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. for a project ("Flashing Yellow Arrows (FYA) and Traffic Signal Improvements at Various Locations") for the design of traffic signals, traffic signal modifications for flashing yellow arrows, roundabout modification, signs, striping, and median islands at various locations throughout Clark County.
The Board previously approved one supplemental to the professional engineering services contract by increasing total funds and extending the time of performance for additional engineering services.
The attached Supplemental No. 2 to the professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. increases total funds for additional engineering services for improvements needed for final design and extends the time of performance to January 31, 2024, unless further time extensions are granted.
GCW, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
