BACKGROUND:
On February 13, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1164 for the Maryland Parkway Bus Rapid Transit: Russell Road to Fremont Street project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension funding for the jurisdictions of Clark County, City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, City of Henderson, City of Boulder City, and City of Mesquite (collectively "Member Entities"). The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on July 7, 2020.
The Board and RTC previously approved one supplemental to Interlocal Contract No. 1164 revising the scope of work of the project from Russell Road to Fremont Street, to Russell Road to Medical District.
The attached Supplemental No. 2 to Interlocal Contract No. 1164 increases total funds for engineering for the subject project, and updated funding is from Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2023.
RTC approved the second supplemental interlocal contract at its meeting on December 8, 2022.
Each of the other Member Agencies is scheduled to approve the supplemental contract at their respective Board/Council meetings.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental interlocal contract as to form.
