Reevaluating Desert Upland Habitat Restoration Sites

The total Agreement award is not-to-exceed $273,000 should all renewal options be exercised.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is for reevaluation of desert upland habitat restoration sites to determine habitat conditions 10-20 plus years after restoration, compare the effectiveness of different restoration approaches, and model the potential cost-effectiveness and benefits of the different approaches.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
•                     The term of the Agreement is from date of award through June 24, 2025 and includes the option to renew                      for 1, six-month period.
•                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
