BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606331-22, for Laughlin Road Rehabilitation - Areas 1, 2 & 3 was advertised on October 12, 2022 and opened on November 14, 2022. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for improvements on multiple streets in the town of Laughlin, in Clark County, Nevada. Subdivisions included in the work are Villa Bonita, Cielo De Azul, Laughlin Estates, Cottage Hill, Terrace, Canyon Rim, El Mirage Estates, and El Mirage Park. The work will generally consist of improvements including sidewalk ramp reconstruction to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) current standards, utility adjustments, pavement reconstruction efforts including removal and replacement of base material in areas, removal and replacement of plantmix bituminous surface in areas, removal and replacement of damaged sidewalk and curb and gutter, permanent sign replacements, and other necessary appurtenances required to make a good, complete, and serviceable project.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 210 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
