BACKGROUND:

On November 15, 2022, the Board discussed amending the retail beer and wine license to also allow for the sale of spirit based products for which the alcohol content does not exceed seventeen percent by volume or thirty-four proof and directed staff to draft an ordinance.

The proposed ordinance was introduced at the Board of County Commissioners' meeting on December 20, 2022, and a public hearing was set for January 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Staff recommends approval of the ordinance to amend Title 8, Chapter 8.20 of the County Code.
