BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606248-22, for Dean Martin Drive - Phase 1 from Oquendo Road to Alibaba Lane was advertised on September 28, 2022 and opened on November 3, 2022. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for improvement to Dean Martin Drive between Oquendo Road and Alibaba Lane. Improvements to include pavement rehabilitation for the width of the pavement, removal and replacement of pavement markings, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements to existing substandard curb ramps, replacement of damaged curb gutter and sidewalk, traffic control devices, upgrade existing streetlight luminaires to light emitting diode (LED), utility vertical adjustments, installation of fiber optic conduits, an overhead sign structure, dynamic message sign, traffic signal pole, CCTV camera and other necessary appurtenances required to make a good, complete, and serviceable project within the right-of-way.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 135 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
