BACKGROUND:
On August 30, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606210-22 to Status Electrical Corporation (LBE) in the amount of $2,408,387.49 for purchase, installation, services, and maintenance of Clark County Detention Center control room and security system.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through July 30, 2023, and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are 4 renewal options remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for a revision to support and maintenance as hardware purchases and support requirements will change. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Status Electrical Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
