The initial Contract amount was not to exceed $1,630,000. Amendment No. 1 increased the Contract by an amount not to exceed $8,440,000. Amendment No. 2 will decrease the Contract by an amount not to exceed $3,980,000 for a new total Contract amount not to exceed $6,090,000, should all renewal options be exercised. |
BACKGROUND:
On February 15, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606071-21 to Liberty Wellness Outpatient Counseling Center, LLC (NBE) in the amount not to exceed $1,630,000 for basic needs support for Clark County visitors, community residents and families who have been affected by Covid-19.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from November 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 added 4, one-year renewal options to allow for the continuation of services.
Approval of Amendment No. 2 will reduce services from two (2) buildings to one (1). The attached Amendment No. 2 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Liberty Wellness Outpatient Counseling Center, LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
