BACKGROUND:

The District is seeking authorization to issue General Obligation (Limited Tax) Bonds (additionally secured by pledged revenues) in an amount not to exceed $340,000,000 (the “Proposal”) for the purpose of financing the District’s Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan (FY 2022/23 through FY 2026/27), estimated at $1.1 Billion.

At the December 6, 2022, meeting of the Board of Trustees, the Board authorized the Chair to sign District Resolution 22-006, a Resolution of Intent, and directed the Secretary of the District to publish the Notice of Public Hearing. The Notice was published December 10, 2022, December 17, 2022, and on December 24, 2022, in a newspaper of general circulation in Clark County. The Notice of Public Hearing provided notice to the public regarding the time and place that they may have an opportunity to be heard on this matter. The Clark County Water Reclamation District asks that the Chair opens the public hearing, take any public comment, and close the public hearing. No action is required to be taken.
