BACKGROUND: 

The scope of this Project includes replacement of 40 jet bridge PCA (Preconditioned Air) units experiencing a high volume of maintenance requests.

John Bean Technologies Corporation dba JBT AeroTech, Jetway Systems (Company) has national expertise in jet bridge maintenance. In addition, all 113 passenger boarding bridges at the airport were manufactured and installed by Company.

In accordance with NRS 332.115.1 (c) and (d), the services to be performed are exempt from competitive bidding requirements because maintenance may be more efficiently performed by a certain person and the equipment which, by reason of the training of the personnel or of an inventory of replacement parts maintained by the local government is compatible with existing equipment. 

This contract has been reviewed and approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office. Company currently holds a Clark County Business License.
