The total Contract award is estimated in the amount not to exceed $25,000,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Contract is for ongoing support and licensing for the Cúram/ACES system Watson Health Software with Merative US L.P.

A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because Merative is the sole provider for the Watson Health Software.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The term of the Contract is from October 1, 2022 through June 30, 2027.
                     Includes the either party can terminate without cause on at least one month's notice or immediate for                      cause if the other is in material breach of the Contract.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature and (h), the competitive bidding process is not required as the item to be purchased pertains to software for computers.

The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
