BACKGROUND:

On January 10, 2019, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1057 for the project for Casino Drive from Needles Highway to Harrah's Hotel in Laughlin, Nevada (Project No. R00221A) on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Direct Distribution Funds. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on February 19, 2019.

The Board and RTC previously approved one supplemental to Interlocal Contract No. 1057 to change the funding account for this project to RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.

The attached Supplemental No. 2 to Interlocal Contract No. 1057 increases total funds to cover an increase in engineering costs.

RTC approved the second supplemental contract at its meeting on February 9, 2023.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
