BACKGROUND:

On September 13, 2022, the Department of Business License began to accept applications for Short-Term Rental Units for a six-month period as required by state statute (Sec. 26.5(2)(a) of AB 363 (2021)) that will end on March 13, 2023.  Each application was assigned a unique identification number.  Upon the close of the application period, the unique identification numbers assigned to each application received will be entered into a random number generation program and a list will be created to determine the order in which the applications will be processed
