Approve and authorize the Director of Real Property Management or her designee to sign a Right of Entry and Temporary Construction Easement with Clark County Water Reclamation District (CCWRD) for the Whitney Lift Station Project 19100 located on Assessor's Parcel Numbers 161-23-301-002 and 161-23-301-003, 161-26-101-008, 161-26-302-002 and 161-26-701-001, to install a new twenty (20) inch force main, which includes signing a non-exclusive Grant of Easement to CCWRD, Southwest Gas, Nevada Energy and Las Vegas Valley Water District; and sign any other documents as necessary to complete the transaction. BACKGROUND:
Clark County Water Reclamation District (CCWRD) has requested various easements to complete their Project 19100 (Whitney Lift Station Rehabilitation). The project scope adds a twenty (20) inch force main that runs from the CCWRD Stephanie Campus to the Whitney Lift Station. The line will run through the Wetlands Park and the Public Works Laydown Yard located on Assessor's Parecel Numbers 161-23-301-002 and 161-23-301-003, 161-26-101-008, 161-26-302-002 and 161-26-701-001. As part of the project, CCWRD requires a 15.17 acre right of entry and temporary construction easement. Upon completion, Clark County (County) will grant non-exclusive easements to CCWRD, Southwest Gas, Las Vegas Valley Water District and Nevada Energy for utility lines servicing the Whitney Lift Station. Grants of Non-Exclusive Easements shall be executed substantially as to form.
CCWRD will widen and pave impacted trails, install a sloped driveway curb on Hollywood Circle, increase the firebreak and revegetate the Wetlands Park as required.
Public Works and Parks and Recreation have reviewed and found no conflict with existing or proposed County improvements.
