BACKGROUND:
This Agreement is for the court's seven Specialty Court programs, adhering to the nationally proven drug court model - which serves the following populations: Women in Need of Change (WIN) Court, Habitual Offenders Prevention and Education (HOPE) Court, Youthful Offender (YO) Court, Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Court, Veterans Court, Mental Health Court, and Fresh Start Program.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
• The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.
• Either party may terminate Agreement, without cause, upon giving thirty (30) days written notice to the other party.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
