BACKGROUND:
Clark County Department of Public Works (County) has plans to construct roadway improvements on a portion of Betty Lane as part of the Carey Avenue between Nellis Boulevard and Toiyabe Street project (No. PW. R016H13). The United States of America, acting by and through the Secretary of the Air Force (Government), has granted an easement to Clark County Public Works for a portion of Betty Lane (upon Assessor's Parcel No. 140-16-401-007), located on the Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.
The non-exclusive easement is for constructing and maintaining roadway improvements on Betty Lane including, but not limited to, removing and replacing roadway surface, widening Betty Lane, providing storm drain, curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveways, sidewalk ramps, streetlights, service pedestal, underground Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) fiber and conduit, traffic signs, roadway striping, utility adjustments, and incidentals as may be needed to provide a complete and serviceable roadway on, over, under, and across the property on Nellis Air Force Base.
The attached grant of non-exclusive easement describes the conditions, stipulations, and terms as they relate to both the County and Government.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the grant of non-exclusive easement as to form.
