BACKGROUND:

On November 15, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners discussed how liquor is displayed and how accessible it is in certain retail stores that have a package liquor license. Staff was directed to meet with the industry and to bring back recommendations for further direction from the Board. Workshops were held with representatives from: (a) the Nevada Resort Association; (b) liquor stores; and (c) grocery stores, gift shops and drug stores.
