BACKGROUND:

On July 20, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the Fire Chief to accept donations to the department in the amount not to exceed $2,500 in personal property and $1,000 in monetary donations.  Individual donations valued at more than $2,500 in personal property or $1,000 in cash will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners for acceptance at a regularly scheduled meeting.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Southern Nevada Fire and Aviation Program is pleased to transfer a 2016 Polaris Ranger 6x6 Utility Terrain Vehicle with firefighting package to the Rural Division.  The Clark County Fire Department Rural Division plays a critical role in suppressing wildfires on the Southern Nevada BLM District.

The Clark County Fire Department Rural Division appreciates the generosity and recommends acceptance of this donation.
