BACKGROUND:

On December 29, 2022, Statement of Qualification (SOQ) No. 606391-22 was advertised on the Clark County Purchasing website and in the Las Vegas Review Journal. Submittals were requested for quality assurance agency third party construction inspection services.

Submittals were received from the following firms: Aztech Materials, Inc (NBE), Centurion Consultants, LLC (NBE), Geotechnical & Environmental Services, Inc. (NBE), Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants (MBE), Nova Geotechnical and Inspection Services, LLC dba Universal Engineering Sciences (MBE) and RMA Companies dba Western Technologies, Inc. (NBE).

An Ad-Hoc Committee comprised of 3 individuals from Real Property Management reviewed and evaluated the submittals and found 6 firms qualified. Attached is the Qualified List of firms ranked in sequential order from highest to lowest scored. In the event an acceptable contract cannot be negotiated with a firm, staff will negotiate with the next firm on the Qualified List.

The following is the pertinent provision of this approval:
The term of the Qualified List is from date of award through April 30, 2024 and includes the option to                      renew for 4, one-year periods.

The recommendation for approval is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature. Pursuant to internal policies and procedures, Clark County solicited these services through the SOQ process.

All firms on the Qualified List currently hold a Clark County Business License.
