BACKGROUND:

On June 7, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of Bid 606039-21 for Bruce Woodbury Beltway Widening Craig Road to Grand Montecito Parkway and Various Safety Improvements to Las Vegas Paving Corporation (NBE) in the amount of $26,200,000 for improvements to the 6.3 mile section of the mainline beltway consisting of upgrading 6-lane controlled access freeway with a closed median area from Centennial Parkway to Grand Montecito Parkway.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 280 calendar days from the date specified after the                      receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
Included the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience                      language as in all public works efforts of this type.

Approval of Change Order No. 1 will extend the Contract by 158 days and provide for dual right turns to Hualapai and Durango offramps from the Westbound - North Beltway (215). This work required widening of both offramps, dense grade pavement, traffic signal modifications, concrete islands, concrete sidewalk, new overhead highway signage, decorative rocks, ITS, streetlighting and striping.  The attached Change Order No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.

Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
