Cross-Jurisdictional Emergency Temporary Placement of Native American Children

Additional Comments:

The total Agreement revenue is based on the number of children placed in facilities.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is to provide temporary placement of Las Vegas Paiute Tribe's Native American children for the purpose of preventing harm and neglect.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
•                     The term of the Agreement is from date of award through June 30, 2024 and includes the option to renew                      for 4, one-year periods.
•                     Either party may terminate this Agreement without cause by giving the other party thirty (30) days written                      notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
