BACKGROUND:

On April 19, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 604790-18 for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Software and Services to Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) in the amount of $119,430.14 and included further expenditures based upon department's approved budget, as funds were allocated.

A revised Fiscal Directive No. 6, competitive bidding exception, was approved to continue using ESRI GSI software and services.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

The term of the Contract was from date of award through five (5) years.
Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will extend the Contract for an additional five (5) one-year periods of GIS Products and Support. The attached Amendment No.1 document details the modifications involved.

Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) currently holds a Clark County Business License.
