BACKGROUND:
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved and budgeted funding for the FAST CCTV Camera Replacements project in the Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2023. RTC intends to complete FAST CCTV Camera Replacements within the jurisdictions of Clark County, City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, City of Henderson, City of Boulder City, and City of Mesquite (collectively "Entities").
The attached Interlocal Contract No. 3098 identifies RTC as the lead agency and responsible party for all costs associated with the project. Interlocal Contract No. 3098 authorizes funds for the procurement and installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at various signalized intersections throughout Southern Nevada. The project also includes the identification of signalized intersections that currently do not have a camera or require a camera replacement, integration, and other miscellaneous labor or appurtenances to complete the project. The time of performance is effective to June 30, 2028, unless time extensions are granted.
RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on April 13, 2023.
Each of the Entities is scheduled to approve the interlocal contract at their respective Board/Council meetings.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
