BACKGROUND:

In January 2022, the City of Henderson (COH) requested an access easement on the West side of the Clark County (County) Museum parcel that currently is an undeveloped dirt access road through a thirty (30) foot gate.  COH is currently in escrow with a developer and as part of the development approval, the entry to the parcel is required to come off Equestrian Drive.  The intent is to provide the entry into the development and the museum from Equestrian Drive as a private driveway for primary access to the COH parcel.  COH will provide the County with permanent limited access as a non-exclusive easement allowing the County to use the private driveway as a secondary access to the Museum parcel.

This item was presented to the County's Long Range Planning Committee on February 23, 2023.
