Additional Comments:

The initial Contract amount was $4,885,726.38, Amendment No. 1 will increase the Contract amount by $594,000, for a new total Contract amount of $5,479,726.38.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On January 17, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of Bid No. 606231-22 for 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway Landscape Maintenance to Brightview Landscape Services, Inc. (NBE) in the amount of $4,885,726.38 for landscape maintenance along 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

                     The term of the Contract was from date of award through June 30, 2023 and included the option to renew                      for 4, one-year periods and included a 4-month extension.  There are 3 renewal options remaining.
                     Included the option to increase the award amount up to 20% based on possible increased user                      requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
                     Included the option to increase the award amount up to 3% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for the additional coverage of landscape maintenance on 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.

Brightview Landscape Services, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
