BACKGROUND:
This item will allow for the purchase of two 4500-gallon ARFF vehicles, and ancillary equipment built in accordance with FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5110-10E and the most current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 414 standards. Vehicles also meet the ARFF vehicle requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 139. The vehicles will provide fire suppression capabilities throughout all critical rescue and firefighting access areas.
The bid invitation was issued April 7, 2023, and publicly opened on May 5, 2023. One response was received.
