BACKGROUND: 

Right-of-way engineering for construction of the following projects have identified that partial acquisitions of the following Assessor's Parcel Numbers (APN) may be necessary:

1.       Blue Diamond Railroad Channel; Blue Diamond Road to Rainbow Boulevard 
          APN:  176-22-301-004 (April Yu-Wai Yoo)
          APN:  176-22-801-003 (James Richard Choate and Diane Demond)

2.       Searchlight West Channel Improvements
          APNs:  243-34-301-009 and 243-34-701-028 (Jenifer and Matt Walker)
          APN:    243-34-601-010 (Katherine E. and Jorge A. Ramos)

The appraisal reports identified herein will provide information necessary for budgeting and further development of the construction plans as may be required.  Rights-of-way shown on the current plans may be modified based upon acquisition costs, construction costs and revisions to the plans. Once the costs are determined and rights-of-way are finalized, authorization to acquire will be requested from the Board of County Commissioners.

Authorization to appraise portions of the aforementioned parcels is now being sought from the Board of County Commissioners.
