The initial Contract amount was $657,000. Amendment No. 1 increased the contract by $1,314,000. Amendment No. 2 will increase the Contract amount by $1,917,372, for a new total Contract amount of $3,888,372. |
BACKGROUND:
On August 4, 2022, in accordance with the NRS 332 Resolution approved by the Board of County Commissioners (Board), the Department of Finance, Purchasing and Contracts Division approved the award of CBE No. 606232-22 to Bamboo Sunrise, LLC in the amount of $657,000 for Foster Care Qualified Residential Treatment Program.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through June 30, 2023.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 extended the Contract term through June 30, 2024 and increased the number of reserved
beds to 12.
Approval of Amendment No. 2 will extend the Contract term through June 30, 2025 and will increase the occupied bed rate. The attached Amendment No. 2 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Bamboo Sunrise, LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
