BACKGROUND:
The Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Action Plan describes the funding allocations, by jurisdiction, for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnerships Grant (HOME), the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and the Nevada Account for Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AAHTF). Total Federal funding represented in the plan is $13,769,814. The total funding in the plan including funding from the State of Nevada (State HOME and AAHTF) is $19,240,381.
The funding levels shown in the draft Plan are estimated amounts. All proposed activities’ budgets will be proportionally increased or decreased from the estimated funding levels to match actual allocation amounts.
Prior to its submittal to the Department of Housing and Urban Development on May 21, 2024, the Action Plan will be revised to incorporate any public comments received as well as any required technical corrections. It is expected that HUD will approve the Action Plan by the end of July 2024.
