BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for the design and construction of flood control improvements. On July 13, 2023, RFCD and Clark County entered into an interlocal contract for construction of the Jim McGaughey Detention Basin, Collection and Outfall project. The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on August 15, 2023.

Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract will increase funding to cover the bid amount, which is higher than the engineer's estimate.

The time of performance remains effective until June 30, 2028, unless time extensions are granted.

RFCD approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on March 14, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
