BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606971-24, for Purchase of Kenwood Radios & Equipment was advertised on February 6, 2024 and opened on March 11, 2024. The Bid amounts are as follows:

McIntosh Communications Inc. (NBE) $504,812.52
Rebel Communications, LLC (NBE) $506,024.00*
* The Bids received from Frontier Radio, Inc. and Rebel Communications, LLC are recommended for rejection for being non-responsive. Both failed to bid on all line items.
This Contract is for the purchase of Kenwood radios and equipment.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from date of award through March 31, 2025 and includes the option to renew for 4, one-year periods.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.065.2, if the governing body or its authorized representative has advertised for or requested bids in letting a contract, the governing body or its authorized representative must award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
McIntosh Communications Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
