BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607021-24, for Spring Mountain Youth Camp, Building 4 & 5 Alterations was advertised on March 11, 2024 and opened on April 8, 2024. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for abatement of all hazardous material and installation of all new construction finishes in Building 4 and 5 which is approximately 6,066 square feet combined, single story buildings currently unoccupied with an interior ceiling height of 10 feet. Construction includes the installation of interior finishes and exterior finishes in addition to metal furring, waterproofing, building envelope insulation, attic space insulation, new doors, door frames and windows, flooring and ceiling alterations. The work includes new accessible plumbing fixtures and above ground plumbing pipe replacement, cleaning and painting the exterior of the existing heating/ventilation/air-conditioning (HVAC) ductwork and diffusers, electrical wiring, cabling and conduit for data and communications.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 210 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
