BACKGROUND:
This Agreement is for University of Nevada, Reno to coordinate and conduct ongoing health professional training education in cultural humility, social determinants of health, medical mistrust, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, client-centered practices, sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
• The term of the Agreement is from date of final signature through August 31, 2025 and includes the option to renew for 1, one-year period.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
