BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607193-24, for Indian Springs Park Improvements (SNPLMA) was advertised on September 24, 2024 and opened on December 11, 2024. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for construction of a 8' wide trail with 1' concrete curb on both sides of a walking trail with pathway lighting, furnish and install a 7,000 s.f. nature themed playground area with natural building materials, nature themed climb-on structures/animals and boulder scramble of wall climbing facilities, swings, accessible sauces swings, benches and safety surfacing. Construction also includes installation of interpretive educational signs and distance markers embedded on the trail surface. Installation of fabric shade structures over a portion of the new nature play area and existing playground with lighting.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 270 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
