BACKGROUND:
On October 1, 2024, Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 607311-24 was advertised on the Clark County Purchasing website and in the Las Vegas Review Journal. Proposals were requested for 2015 Ozone NAAQS Serious Attainment Plan.
Proposals were received from the following firms: RTP Environmental Associates (LBE) and Sonoma Technology, Inc. (LBE).
An Ad-Hoc Committee comprised of 4 individuals from the Department of Environment and Sustainability reviewed and evaluated the proposals. After the evaluation, the Ad-Hoc Committee ranked the firms in the following order: RTP Environmental Associates, Inc. and Sonoma Technology, Inc.
Subsequent to the evaluation of the written proposals, both firms were selected for oral presentations. After the oral presentations, the Ad-Hoc Committee ranked these short-listed firms in the following order: Sonoma Technology, Inc. and RTP Environmental Associates, Inc.
The Ad-Hoc Committee recommends the selection of Sonoma Technology, Inc.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from date of award through June 30, 2027 and includes a 6 month extension.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature. Pursuant to internal policies and procedures, Clark County solicited these services through the RFP process.
Sonoma Technology, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
